Synopsis

World's Greatest Dad (2009) is a pitch-black comedy starring Robin Williams that you can watch online on iFILM. A 99-minute American film written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait.

Lance Clayton teaches a poorly attended poetry class and dreams of publishing a novel, but the rejection letters keep coming. His girlfriend Claire, the art teacher, hides their relationship from coworkers and wants nothing serious. His teenage son Kyle is crude, porn-obsessed and openly contemptuous of him. Then a freakish accident upends Lance's life and, against all reason, hands him the fame he always craved. The only question left is whether he can live with how he got it.

Comedian Bobcat Goldthwait directs with a mean, squirming streak of humor that aims straight at the uncomfortable. Williams plays sharply against his cuddly image here, as a quiet failure who crosses a line he can't uncross. Watch for a cameo from Nirvana's Krist Novoselic.
