The War with Grandpa

The War with Grandpa (2020) is Tim Hill's family comedy, ready to watch online on iFILM. A recently widowed grandfather moves in with his daughter's family and takes over his grandson's bedroom. Banished to the spooky attic, sixth-grader Peter declares all-out war to get the room back.

Robert De Niro stars as Grandpa Ed, who refuses to surrender. Peter rigs the bed, swaps belongings and sets small traps; Ed strikes right back, and the pranks spiral well past anything either expected. Caught in the crossfire are Peter's mom, played by Uma Thurman, and Ed's wisecracking buddies, brought to life by Christopher Walken, Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour.
