Synopsis
The Legend of Hei 2 (罗小黑战记 2, 2025) is a Chinese animated action-fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Gu Jie and MTJJ for studio HMCH, the film runs 119 minutes and picks up where the 2019 cult original left off.
Hei — a shape-shifting cat spirit who moves between the human world and the realm of spirits — finds the uneasy truce between both sides shattered by a sudden attack. To untangle the conspiracy behind it, he teams up with Luye, the last remaining disciple of his mentor Wuxian. Voice cast includes Shan Xin as Hei and the double role of Nezha, Liu Mingyue as Wuxian, and Zhu Jing as Luye. The stakes are personal: the bond Hei and Luye have sworn to protect sits right at the centre of the threat.
