Stumptown (Season 1)

Stumptown (2019) is an ABC detective drama you can watch online on iFILM. Cobie Smulders stars as Dex Parios, a former Army intelligence officer living with PTSD who sets up shop as a private investigator in Portland, Oregon.

Dex takes on other people's cases while her own life barely holds together: debts pile up, an old flame resurfaces, and her younger brother Ansel needs daily support. Each job pulls her into Portland's murkier corners, and Dex moves through them with a soldier's instinct for improvised solutions. Jake Johnson plays her bartender friend Grey; Michael Ealy is the police detective who keeps crossing her path; Tantoo Cardinal and Camryn Manheim round out a cast that gives the show its texture.
