Boruto: Naruto Next Generations (2017) is an anime series you can watch online on iFILM. The sequel to Naruto follows a new lead: Boruto Uzumaki, son of the grown-up Naruto, who now serves as the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf.

The shinobi world has moved on. There are gadgets, trains and scientific ninja tools, and the old way of the ninja is quietly fading. Boruto enrolls at the Academy alongside Sasuke's daughter Sarada and the mysterious Mitsuki. He resents his father, who is buried in Hokage duties and rarely home. As strange incidents ripple through the village, Boruto has to figure out what kind of ninja he wants to be, instead of simply carrying a famous name.

Animated by Studio Pierrot and rooted in Masashi Kishimoto's manga universe, the series has run for hundreds of episodes, carrying the huge Naruto fanbase forward while building its own mythology around a younger generation.
