Barbarian

Barbarian (2022) is Zach Cregger's horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Tess arrives in Detroit for a job interview and finds her rented house already occupied by a stranger named Keith, the booking double-sold out from under her.

It's raining, nothing else is open, and she stays the night against every instinct telling her not to. Keith is polite. He makes tea, keeps his distance, and the whole thing still feels wrong. The next morning, hunting for toilet paper, she finds a door in the basement that should not exist and a narrow hallway sloping down into the dark. From there the film yanks the rug out twice, so the less you know going in, the better.

Georgina Campbell and Bill Skarsgard carry the opening; then Justin Long crashes in and flips the whole tone sideways. Cregger, a veteran of sketch troupe The Whitest Kids U' Know, made his solo directing debut with this, and critics ranked it among the year's biggest surprises.
