Synopsis

Sergeant Jake Roenick is killing time with a skeleton crew when a blizzard reroutes a prison bus to his precinct. One of the inmates is Marion Bishop, a mob figure that a squad of masked gunmen wants dead. Phones are down, backup isn't coming. So the cops do the unthinkable: they hand weapons to the prisoners and defend the building side by side. Ethan Hawke and Laurence Fishburne play two men from opposite sides of the bars who have to trust each other until dawn.
