Synopsis

Kamal leaves Brussels with good intentions and ends up trapped in Raqqa, forced to join a militia. Back in Belgium, his younger brother Nassim is precisely the kind of lost young man recruiters look for. Lubna Azabal plays their mother Leila — and she carries the film's emotional weight in a performance that's far quieter than anything around it.
