My Blue Heaven

My Blue Heaven (1990) is an American crime comedy — watch online on iFILM. Director Herbert Ross paired Steve Martin and Rick Moranis as the least compatible roommates in witness protection history: Martin plays Vinnie Antonelli, a wisecracking former mobster, and Moranis plays Barney Coopersmith, the by-the-book FBI agent assigned to keep him alive and out of trouble.

Vinnie is supposed to blend in. Instead, he redecorates the supermarket's deli section by sheer force of personality, immediately reconnects with every shady character in the suburb, and treats federal witness rules as loose suggestions. Barney is running two simultaneous operations: keep the mob hitmen away and keep Vinnie from imploding. Joan Cusack and Carol Kane round out the cast.
