Comet

Comet (2014) is a romantic sci-fi drama directed by Sam Esmail — watch it online on iFILM. A meteor shower over Los Angeles throws them together, and what follows is a love story told out of order — hotel rooms in Paris, streetside arguments, moments of unexpected tenderness, none of it presented in sequence.

Esmail cuts between timelines without signposting, forcing the viewer to assemble the relationship the way the characters themselves experience it: in fragments. Dell is difficult to like and impossible to ignore. Kimberly knows this and stays anyway — or doesn't. The film runs 91 minutes and leaves the math deliberately unsolved.
