Lane is a New York freelance writer who pitches Cosmopolitan a story she has to live first: go undercover at a finance firm and find the perfect man using a very specific checklist. The list covers everything from ambition to shoe size. The problem is that actual humans refuse to behave like spreadsheet entries, and one particular colleague keeps scoring the wrong boxes while being oddly impossible to ignore. Jamie Pressly and Jennifer Coolidge round out the cast with a few well-timed comic moments.
