Synopsis

Tom ends up sorting undeliverable mail — letters addressed to God. On impulse, he starts writing back. Greg Kinnear plays the reluctant good Samaritan whose small acts of decency pull in his coworkers — Laurie Metcalf, Hector Elizondo, Tim Conway — one by one. The story is light on its feet, never preachy, and lands on a genuinely warm note: a con built on kindness that eventually becomes the real thing. The postal service is less happy about it.
