An American TV crew flies to Burundi to capture footage of Gustave — a massive Nile crocodile blamed for hundreds of deaths over several decades, never caught despite multiple attempts. The plan is straightforward: find the animal, film it, get out. But the region is controlled by a warlord who considers outsiders a problem, and the crew discovers that the crocodile is not the only thing hunting them in the river basin.

Gustave is a real animal. The crocodile was documented by herpetologist Patrice Faye and remains at large; the film borrows that unresolved story and wraps it in a war-zone thriller. Stream Primeval (2007) in full on iFILM.
