Synopsis
The Disappointments Room (2016) is a horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director D.J. Caruso cast Kate Beckinsale as Dana, an architect who moves her husband and young son from New York into a sprawling rural house — a fresh start after a private loss that has left her fraying at the edges.
The house has an attic. The attic has a room with no windows and a heavy lock. Dana finds it. What she starts seeing inside — a dark figure, flashes from another era, something that was put there and never meant to come out — refuses to stay confined to the third floor. Her family does not see what she sees, which makes everything harder to explain and harder to stop.
