Synopsis
Standing Up (2013) is an American coming-of-age drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by DJ Caruso. Chandler Canterbury and Annalise Basso play two kids who don't know each other — until a summer camp prank leaves them both stranded, stripped, on a deserted island in the middle of a lake.
Going back means walking into a crowd of people who thought this was funny. So they don't go back. Instead they run, hitchhike, beg change and figure it out as they go for three days across country they've never seen. Radha Mitchell and Val Kilmer play the adults looking for them. The film adapts Brock Cole's 1987 novel The Goats, a quietly celebrated piece of YA fiction about the specific loneliness of being twelve and already know that the world can be cruel without reason.
