Synopsis

A bar fight at a roadside diner brings Paul together with a quiet drifter named Jack (Jonathan Rhys Meyers). Grateful, Jack talks his way into staying the night, then starts dictating the plot of Paul's next book and refuses to leave. Who is holding whom hostage gets murkier by the hour. Antonio Banderas plays Paul, with Piper Perabo also in the cast.
A tight two-hander remade from the French film Papillon noir, this one runs on suspicion rather than spectacle.
