Synopsis

Vlad rules in peace until Sultan Mehmed demands a thousand boys for his army — his own son among them. No mortal strength can stop what is coming. So Vlad climbs to a mountain cave where an ancient monster waits and strikes a bargain: inhuman power in exchange for an unquenchable thirst for blood. He has three days to resist that hunger, or the curse becomes permanent. War gives him far less.
