Synopsis

Sixteen-year-old Ned lives for music and has long given up on classmates who bully him for being different. Then he's assigned the least likely roommate possible: Conor, a new arrival and the rugby team's rising star. A real friendship grows between the quiet outsider and the golden boy, and nobody around them believes it. Watching over both is an English teacher played by Andrew Scott, who keeps daring them to stop hiding. Follow the crowd, or follow your heart? The film never lets that question rest.
