The House of Yes

The House of Yes (1997) is a dark comedy directed by Mark Waters — watch it online on iFILM. Marty brings his fiancée home for Thanksgiving, which sounds ordinary enough. His family is not ordinary. His twin sister Jackie-O, played by Parker Posey, has been waiting for him — and she was not expecting a stranger.

Jackie is obsessed with the Kennedy assassination to a degree that goes well past morbid. She wears the pink suit, she knows the motorcade route, and she has strong opinions about who Marty belongs to. Freddie Prinze Jr. plays the hapless brother, Tori Spelling his bewildered fiancée — both trapped in a house where saying no is simply not the family style. Posey runs away with the whole film.
