Up in Smoke

Up in Smoke (1978) is the cult Lou Adler comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It's the first feature from Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, and the movie that more or less invented the whole stoner-comedy genre.

Anthony, an unemployed amateur drummer, bails on his uptight parents and picks up a kindred spirit named Pedro on the roadside. Things go sideways fast. The pair get busted for possession, walk free on a technicality, and roll toward Los Angeles in a van built entirely out of marijuana. Along the way: a joint the size of a hot dog, a bumbling narcotics cop on their tail, and a battle-of-the-bands finale where they tear into the deranged "Earache My Eye."
