Freaks

Hans, a sideshow little person, is hopelessly in love with the trapeze artist Cleopatra. She mocks him and carries on with the strongman Hercules — until she learns Hans stands to inherit a fortune. Suddenly the wedding is on, with a quiet plan to poison him afterward. What Cleopatra fails to grasp is the loyalty among the so-called freaks. Siamese twins, an armless woman, a man with no limbs and the rest of the circus live by one rule: wrong one of us, and you answer to all of us.
