Klara is a military interpreter sent home after a brutal tour in Syria. The army reassigns her to patrol the streets of Nice under Operation Sentinelle. The war stays in her head, and she dulls it with pills and drink. Then her younger sister is beaten and raped, and the man behind it is the son of someone powerful enough to walk free. The system goes quiet. So Klara decides to handle it herself, turning her combat training on one specific target.
