Armored

Armored (2009) is Nimród Antal's crime action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Iraq veteran Ty Hackett is drowning in debt and raising his kid brother alone when the older guards on his armored-truck crew pull him into a job.

The pitch sounds clean: two trucks carrying ten million dollars, a staged robbery, nobody hurt, the money split six ways. Mike (Matt Dillon), Ty's mentor and almost a second father, runs the scheme. Then a random witness stumbles in, the deal falls apart, and the former partners barricade themselves inside an abandoned plant, turning on each other. Ty ends up the only one not yet willing to kill for his cut.

The tight ensemble packs in Laurence Fishburne, Jean Reno, Skeet Ulrich and Milo Ventimiglia, with most of the film riding on a single location and rising distrust. Antal keeps it lean at 88 minutes, all pressure and no padding. Stream Armored (2009) online on iFILM.
