Synopsis
In Secret (2014) is a period drama-thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Charlie Stratton and based on Émile Zola's novel Thérèse Raquin. Elizabeth Olsen plays Therese, a young woman trapped behind the counter of a small Parisian shop in the 1860s, married off to the sickly Camille (Tom Felton) by her iron-willed aunt Madame Raquin (Jessica Lange).
When Camille's charming friend Laurent (Oscar Isaac) walks into the shop, everything shifts. What begins as stolen glances becomes a consuming affair that leads Therese and Laurent down a path neither can walk back from. Zola's source material was always about guilt eating people alive from the inside, and the film leans into that slow burn.
