Killer Klowns from Outer Space

Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) is a sci-fi horror comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Stephen Chiodo drops a swarm of alien invaders on a sleepy American town, and the invaders happen to look like circus clowns.

A young couple spots a bright object falling from the sky and drives into the woods to find the meteor. What they find instead is a giant big top. Inside lurk grinning creatures with painted faces who wrap people in cotton candy cocoons and store them for food. Local cop Dave Hanson refuses to believe students Mike and Debbie at first. Then townsfolk start vanishing one by one. The Klowns kill with popcorn guns, balloon animals and shadow puppets, and every gag is lethal.

Made by the Chiodo Brothers, the film earned cult status on pure absurdity: rubber masks, gleefully cheap effects and a theme song by punk band The Dickies. The tagline "It's craazzy!" is not lying.
