Synopsis

The year is 1939. Daniel McCormick loves Helen but keeps putting off the proposal, until an accident leaves her in a coma. Unable to bear it, Daniel begs a scientist friend to run a cryogenics experiment on him. The plan is simple: one year of sleep. Then everyone forgets about the sleeping man, and the capsule doesn't open until 1992. The pilot steps out into a world he no longer recognizes, and the only ones who believe him are a boy named Nat and his mother (Elijah Wood and Jamie Lee Curtis).
