Synopsis

Young Guns (1988) is Christopher Cain's western you can watch online on iFILM. It is a loose retelling of what tore through New Mexico in the late 1870s, when land was settled with cash and gunfire.

English rancher John Tunstall (Terence Stamp) takes in six drifters, teaches them to read, and keeps them around as muscle against the gang run by a crooked businessman named Murphy. When hired killers gun Tunstall down and the law looks the other way, the boys are sworn in as temporary deputies and twist that badge into a blood feud. Leading the charge is the wildest of them, Billy the Kid (Emilio Estevez), who shoots first and grins later, until half the territory is hunting all six.

The cast is a roll call of late-1980s Hollywood youth: alongside Estevez stand his brother Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, and Lou Diamond Phillips. The film became a surprise hit, revived the western for a new crowd, and kicked off a franchise. Stream Young Guns (1988) online on iFILM.
