Synopsis
Legal Eagles (1986) is an American crime-comedy directed by Ivan Reitman that you can watch online on iFILM. Robert Redford plays Tom Logan, a Manhattan district attorney used to clean courtroom wins — until a case walks in that refuses to stay simple.
The defendant is Chelsea Deardon (Daryl Hannah), daughter of a celebrated painter who died in a studio fire two decades earlier. She's charged with stealing one of her father's paintings, which apparently survived the blaze. Defence lawyer Laura Kelly (Debra Winger) convinces Logan to dig past the surface, and what starts as an art-theft case turns into something considerably darker. Terence Stamp and Brian Dennehy round out the cast; Jim Cash and Jack Epps Jr. wrote the screenplay.
