Synopsis
Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant (2009) is Paul Weitz's fantasy adventure you can watch online on iFILM. A teenager named Darren steals a spider from a travelling freak show and pays for it with his own mortality.
To save his bitten friend Steve, Darren strikes a bargain with the vampire Larten Crepsley, played by John C. Reilly, and becomes a half-vampire bound to live among the circus performers. And what performers they are: a bearded lady, a wolf man, a snake-charmer named Madame Octa. Meanwhile an old feud simmers between two clans of the undead, and Darren turns out to be the spark that could set it off. Steve chooses the other side.
