Down to Earth

Heaven's intake desk made a clerical error. Lance still had four decades left on the clock. Eugene Levy plays the unflappable heavenly manager who offers a workaround: slip Lance's soul into the only available body — a wealthy white businessman. Regina King is the woman who falls for whoever-this-is, and Chazz Palminteri plays a detective who finds the whole situation deeply inconvenient. The comedy runs on the gap between who Lance knows he is and what everyone else sees.
