Synopsis
The Death of Superman (2018) is a DC animated action film you can watch online on iFILM. It adapts the famous 1992 comic arc: something crashes to Earth, tears its way up through the ground and starts marching toward Metropolis, smashing everything it touches.
The thing is called Doomsday, and it doesn't talk, doesn't tire and doesn't back down. The Justice League moves to intercept — Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman — and one by one they get thrown aside. Only one hero can actually stop it. At the same time Clark Kent (voiced by Jerry O'Connell) has a very different worry: he has finally decided to tell Lois Lane (Rebecca Romijn) who he really is. The personal and the apocalyptic collide, and the cost of winning turns out higher than even a Kryptonian is ready to pay.
The film opens a two-part chapter of the DC Animated universe, continued in Reign of the Supermen. Directors Sam Liu and Jake Castorena keep the weight of the comic instead of reducing it to a brawl.
