Synopsis
Money Talks (1997) is a crime comedy directed by Brett Ratner — watch it online on iFILM. Chris Tucker plays Franklin Hatchett, a small-time street hustler who becomes the most wanted man in Los Angeles overnight after a police officer is killed right next to him. Every cop in the city wants him in handcuffs. The gangsters he owes money to want something worse.
His only lifeline: TV reporter James Russell, played by Charlie Sheen, who agrees to hide Franklin in exchange for an exclusive story. The arrangement lands Franklin in the middle of Russell's wedding preparations — much to the horror of fiancée Grace (Heather Locklear). Paul Sorvino shows up as a French crime boss who has his own reasons for tracking Franklin down.
Ratner built the whole film on the gap between Tucker's non-stop motormouth energy and Sheen's increasingly baffled reactions. The tagline says it's not a buddy movie. It kind of is. Stream Money Talks (1997) online on iFILM.
