Synopsis
Hurricane Season (2010) is an American drama you can watch online on iFILM, drawn from what actually happened in Marrero, Louisiana in the months after August 2005 left the Gulf Coast in pieces. Director Tim Story follows Coach Al Collins, played by Forest Whitaker, as he tries to put a basketball team together from the rubble.
With school buildings wrecked and students scattered across shelters, every team in the area is gone. Collins pulls players from several devastated programs, trains them on whatever court he can find, and pushes the combined squad toward the state playoffs. Taraji P. Henson and Courtney B. Vance round out a strong cast.
