About

Synopsis

The Jungle Book (1994) — watch online on iFILM, a live-action adventure directed by Stephen Sommers, drawn from Rudyard Kipling's stories. Mowgli didn't grow up in a classroom. Raised among wolves and a black panther, he learned the language of the jungle long before he remembered any human words. Then Kitty walks back into his life — a girl he knew as a child, before the forest swallowed him whole.

Jason Scott Lee brings real physicality to Mowgli, and Lena Headey plays Kitty with warmth and nerve. The trouble arrives in the form of Captain Boone — Cary Elwes in full villain mode — who wants Mowgli as a guide to the lost Monkey City and its gold. Sam Neill and John Cleese round out the cast. Sommers shot on location with live animals, keeping the world grounded in a way that animation and CGI simply can't replicate. Stream The Jungle Book (1994) in full on iFILM.
