The trail leads to a volcanic island where a mad scientist has bred a whole menagerie of strange creatures. The young spies must track down and destroy a device that could wreck the planet. The catch: none of their gadgets work on the island, so they have to lean on quick thinking and on each other. Making things worse, a rival brother-and-sister team, Gary and Gerti, is racing them for the same prize.

Rodriguez stacks the cast with Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino as the spy parents, plus Ricardo Montalban and Holland Taylor as the grandparents.
