Airheads

Airheads (1994) is a music comedy about a band of rock'n'roll losers you can watch online on iFILM. Michael Lehmann directs Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi and Adam Sandler.

The three members of a heavy-metal band called the Lone Rangers have cut exactly one demo tape, and no station will play it. So Chazz, Rex and Pip grab squirt guns, storm an FM rock station, and demand the DJs do one thing: put their song on the air. The stunt spins out of control fast. Cops ring the building, a hostage negotiation turns into a circus, and the three nobodies suddenly become folk heroes to the fans crowding the street outside.

Made at the height of the grunge years, the film is stuffed with jokes for anyone raised on loud guitars: real-life rocker cameos, a twitchy Buscemi, a very young Sandler.
