Synopsis

Mr. Woodcock (2007) is a US comedy directed by Craig Gillespie — watch it online on iFILM. Self-help author John Farrow returns to his small hometown riding high on his book about letting go of the past. Then his mother drops the news: she's engaged. To Mr. Woodcock, his old gym teacher. The man who made John's entire school career a living hell.

Seann William Scott plays John: a grown man who wrote a bestseller on forgiveness but cannot manage an ounce of it for one particular person. Billy Bob Thornton is Woodcock — deadpan, merciless, utterly unfazed by John's attempts to break them up. Susan Sarandon plays the mother who sees a completely different man. Amy Poehler shows up as John's loyal but increasingly exasperated agent back in the city.

The comedy escalates in increasingly ridiculous fashion as John realizes his own book's advice keeps getting in the way. Stream Mr. Woodcock (2007) online on iFILM.
