Better Man

Better Man (2024) is a music drama you can watch online on iFILM. Michael Gracey directs, and the whole film rides on one bold gamble: Robbie Williams plays himself not as an actor but as a motion-capture chimpanzee. It sounds absurd. It lands anyway.

A kid from Stoke-on-Trent burns to prove his worth to a father who is never satisfied. As a teenager he lands in the boy band Take That, rockets up the charts, breaks away for a solo run and starts filling stadiums. Yet neither the money nor the screaming crowds change how he sees himself. Backstage there's panic, addiction and a voice insisting he isn't good enough.

Gracey, who made The Greatest Showman, builds this less like a standard biopic and more like a stage musical, hung on hits such as Angels and Rock DJ.
