Everest

Everest (2015) is Baltasar Kormakur's disaster drama, and you can watch it online on iFILM. The film reconstructs what happened to two commercial climbing teams during the spring of 1996, up where the air runs out.

New Zealand guide Rob Hall (Jason Clarke) leads a group of paying clients toward the top of the planet. Among those chasing the dream are a Texas mailman and a journalist filing a story from the slope. The ascent is mapped out camp by camp, until the sky breaks near the summit: a sudden storm buries the mountain, oxygen runs low, and survival comes down to minutes and a single right call. The cast includes Josh Brolin, Jake Gyllenhaal, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson and Sam Worthington.
