Synopsis
Mirror Mirror (2012) is Tarsem Singh's fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It takes the old fairy tale and plays it for wit, color and a fair bit of sword-fighting.
The vain Queen, played by Julia Roberts, has burned through the kingdom's gold and sets her sights on a rich husband: a young prince, Armie Hammer. Trouble is, he only has eyes for her stepdaughter. Banished into the woods, Snow White (Lily Collins) falls in with a band of bandit dwarves who teach her to fight, scheme and rob travelers on the road. Then she comes back for the crown.
Singh, the eye behind The Fall and Immortals, turns the story into a costume carnival of giant gowns, snowy forests and a peacock-themed ball. Roberts clearly relishes the villain, firing off insults in every scene. A light family adventure with bite. Stream Mirror Mirror (2012) online on iFILM.
