Synopsis
The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) is a Disney animated feature you can watch online on iFILM. It pairs two short tales in one film: the misadventures of a reckless toad and the spooky legend of Sleepy Hollow.
The first half adapts Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willows. J. Thaddeus Toad, master of Toad Hall, chases every new craze until a motorcar lands him in real trouble, and his friends Mole, Rat and Badger have to dig him out. The second half retells Washington Irving's story. Lanky schoolmaster Ichabod Crane arrives in a quiet New England town, falls for local beauty Katrina, and rides home one night to meet the Headless Horseman.
