Monkeybone

Monkeybone (2001) is an American dark fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Henry Selick — the stop-motion maestro behind The Nightmare Before Christmas — with Brendan Fraser in the lead, Bridget Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg and John Turturro in support.

Cartoonist Stu crashes his car and slips into a coma. His mind lands in Downtown, a surreal layover for wandering souls crammed with mutants, nightmares and oddball characters pulled from other people's unconscious. His own creation — the crude, anarchic chimp Monkeybone — is there too. When a ticket back to Stu's body opens up, Monkeybone grabs it first and walks out into the real world wearing Stu's face.
