Synopsis
Wendell & Wild (2022) is an animated horror-fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Henry Selick — Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline — returns to stop-motion with a screenplay he co-wrote with Jordan Peele, who also voices one of the two scheming demons at the center of the story.
Kat Grove is a thirteen-year-old punk with a past she can't outrun. She ends up at a Catholic school in the same town where her life fell apart — and that's when Wendell and Wild show up. The two demons want out of the Underworld, and they're willing to deal. Kat can have what she wants most: a chance to change what happened to her family. Keegan-Michael Key plays Wendell to Peele's Wild. But the Underworld starts bleeding into the real one, and the demons aren't the only ones with an agenda. Angela Bassett, James Hong, and Lyric Ross round out the cast.
