Synopsis
Gone Nutty (2004) is a short animated film from Blue Sky Studios you can watch online on iFILM. Director Carlos Saldanha delivers five minutes of pure slapstick built around Scrat — the acorn-obsessed squirrel from Ice Age.
Scrat has a stash. An enormous, lovingly organized stash of acorns crammed into what amounts to a nuclear bunker for rodents. One wrong pull and the whole system goes catastrophically, gloriously wrong. No dialogue, no plot twists — just Chris Wedge performing a masterclass in physical comedy through animation, with increasingly unhinged consequences.
