Splice

It takes them one reckless night to cross the line their bosses drew. The result is a creature they name Dren (Delphine Chanéac). She grows at a frightening pace: from a malformed newborn into a girl, then into a winged, tailed woman whose stare prickles the back of your neck. At first Dren is almost a child to them, a lab pet to feed and hide. Then comes everything they never planned for — attachment, jealousy, a parent's blind instinct, and a body that keeps rewriting its own rules.
