Synopsis
The Assessment (2025) is a sci-fi psychological thriller directed by Fleur Fortuné — watch it online on iFILM. Every couple hoping for a child must first pass a formal seven-day evaluation.
Mia and Aaryan, played by Elizabeth Olsen and Himesh Patel, believe they're ready. The evaluator sent to judge them is Virginia, played by Alicia Vikander. The tests start professionally enough. Then they don't. Virginia works through the couple's beliefs, routines, and fears with a precision that feels less like assessment and more like dismantling — as if a human life is just another variable to optimize. Indira Varma and Minnie Driver round out the cast in supporting roles.
