R.I.P.D.

R.I.P.D. (2013) is a fantasy action comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A Boston cop gets gunned down by his own partner. Instead of the afterlife he expected, he ends up drafted into a police force for the dead, signing on for a hundred years of duty.

Ryan Reynolds plays the rookie, paired with Jeff Bridges as a cantankerous lawman who has been shooting outlaws since the Old West. Their job is hunting "deados" — souls who dodged judgment and now hide among the living, rotting under their human disguises. Between busts, Reynolds' character chases the one question that matters to him: who set up his murder? The trail circles back to a former colleague played by Kevin Bacon.

Director Robert Schwentke adapted the Dark Horse comic into a loose, gag-driven buddy picture rather than a grim procedural.
