George and A.J. (2009) is a four-minute Pixar animated short you can watch online on iFILM. Director Josh Cooley made it as a companion piece to the feature film Up, using the same hand-drawn style and characters from that world. It focuses on two minor figures from the opening: nurses George and A.J.

Moments after Carl Fredricksen floats away in his balloon-lifted house, George and A.J. are left standing on the lawn with a lot of explaining to do. The short follows their increasingly surreal afternoon as they try to file a report on what just happened — a task the paperwork was not designed for.
