Guy Anatole grew up in a struggling foster home, reading minds since he was a child and keeping that fact strictly to himself. An NYU law degree opens one door; an unexpected interview opens another — into the Talamasca, a centuries-old international organisation that monitors vampires, witches, demons and every other corner of a world official institutions refuse to acknowledge. A telepath who can sense a vampire's intentions before they act is an asset. He is also a target.
The series expands the Anne Rice universe that gave us Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches — the Talamasca has lurked in the background of those stories for years, and here it steps into the foreground.
