The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself (2022) is a British Netflix fantasy series you can watch online on iFILM. The White Witch Council has watched Nathan since birth, waiting to see what he'll become.

When the Council decides he's too much of a risk to leave alone, Nathan runs. He falls in with a small group of outcasts: Annalise (Nadia Parkes) and a young witch named Gabriel (Paul Ready), both carrying their own reasons to stay off the Council's radar. Together they cross into mainland Europe, chasing answers about Nathan's dormant powers and the family legacy he's been told to be ashamed of.

Adapted from Sally Green's Half Bad novel trilogy, the series ran for eight episodes on Netflix in October 2022. It keeps the moral lines deliberately blurred — there are no clean heroes on either side of the war between Black Witches and White Witches.
